This week the Secretary of Agriculture refused to continue food assistance to 40 plus million needy people. The Secretary is completely unclear on the concept, the purpose of agriculture being to feed the nation. I am a farmer. Where does this administration find such disgusting people.

This denial of Food Stamps is another Trump stunt to force Democrats to give up on healthcare. However three courts have now told Trump he cannot stop the SNAP program and must use the emergency funds which have been set aside for this purpose. Trump seems to be planning to drag his feet rather than follow the court orders. We’ll see this coming week what happens.
